About

Heike Bronn is passionate about the professional management of cultural projects! She founded Dreh- und Angelpunkt in 2003 so as to offer and apply her many years of experience in the field of cultural management.

After finishing school, Heike Bronn spent six months studying privately in Paris. In 1994 she received her Diplom in Cultural Pedagogy (Music/Art) from the University of Hildesheim, Germany – having also completed a semester abroad in Bath, England in 1991/92. From 1996 until 2001, Heike Bronn worked as an educational consultant for singing/choirs at the Landesmusikrat Niedersachsen, an umbrella organisation for music associations. Her duties there included organising Lower Saxony's regional choir and orchestra competitions as well as supervising the Federal State's Youth Choir. She later became choir manager of the Stuttgart Chamber Choir (conducted by Frieder Bernius).

As the owner of Dreh- und Angelpunkt, Heike Bronn is responsible for the project management and development of small and large-scale cultural events and programmes, PR work and fundraising. In recent years she has taken further training in areas such as "Culture and Web 2.0", Polish (2013-2015), "Methodologies in German-Polish Youth exchange" (2014) and Business English. Since 2014, she has been working as expert assessor of EU funded projects (Cooperation Projects, Pan European Cultural Entities), for the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

She has sung in the Gewandhaus Choir, regularly plays chamber music on the flute and baroque flute and volunteers at the Connewitzer Straßenfest, a local street festival in Leipzig and in a local community garden.
