EX TEMPORE – Leipzig Improvisation Festival for early music

The idea of this festival is to regard historical improvisation practice as a cultural heritage, as well as an essential part of today’s Early Music revival. Through improvisation, musicians today are able to gather the music of the past and bring it to the here and now – EX TEMPORE. The festival presents concerts, workshops and lectures with improvisations masters from all over Europe.
