Begeisterte Chorsänger*innen aus aller Welt vereinen sich zu einem Festivalchor: Im Bachfest Leipzig 2020 werden sie auf der Chorempore der Thomaskirche stehen und unter der Leitung des Thomaskantors Gotthold Schwarz Bach-Kantaten singen – ein Traum jedes musikalischen Bach-Fans!
Der Chor führt zusammen mit großartigen Solisten und dem Leipziger Barockorchester in der Motette am Samstag, 20. Juni 2020 um 15.00 Uhr zwei Bach-Kantaten innerhalb des großen Choralkantaten-Zyklus auf.

Enthusiastic singers from all over the world will merge into a festival choir: during Leipzig Bach Festival 2020 they will be standing on the choir gallery in St Thomas’ Church to sing cantatas by Bach under the direction of the Cantor of St Thomas Gotthold Schwarz – a dream of many musical Bach admirers!
Together with splendid soloists and the Leipzig Baroque Orchestra, the choir will perform two cantatas in a »Motet« on Saturday, June 20, 2020, 3.00 pm, as part of the great series of concerts »Annual cycle of chorale cantatas«.
